City Lights "The Naked Truth: Why Humans Have No Fur"

Penn State’s alumni and faculty are featured in City Lights programs, a series of cultural and educational events sponsored by the Penn State Alumni Association in cooperation with Penn State’s colleges and alumni groups. Dr. Nina Jablonski describes how and when we evolved into hairlessness and how we have compensated for the absence of insulating, protective, and socially expressive fur.
