JOB TITLE: Farm Manager/Assistant
LOCATION: Family Farm, Sussex County, New Jersey
SIZE: 1000 acres with 500 tillable and 500 woodland
COMPENSATION: Negotiable, based on experience. Housing and health insurance provided.
CROPS: Varies-hay, corn, wheat, oats, soybeans, and firewood
FACILITIES: A number of barns for hay and equipment storage, corn dryer with wet/dry storage capacity, manager house, and multiple tenant houses.
NATURE OF WORK: We are looking for an honest, responsible, hard working individual that should be experienced in all aspects of crop farming, combining, baling hay, property maintenance, and machinery repairs. The candidate would be responsible for the day to day operations of the farm.
