Two Ag Sciences Alumni Elected to Alumni Council

Two College of Agricultural Sciences alumni have been elected to Alumni Council, the Penn State Alumni Association's all-volunteer governing body. Susan M. McNulty-Atwater, '99 Agricultural and Biological Engineering and Laurie B. Williams, '90 Food Science will be joining current Alumni Council members Carrie Bomgardner, '97 Dairy & Animal Science, '01 MBA Bus, Les Firth, '58, '61g Agricultural Economics, and Nelson Loftus, '58, '62g Foestry, '66g Agronomy.

Following is a brief biography about each newly named Alumni Council member:

Susan M. McNulty-Atwater, of Barker, N.Y., has been an active member of the College of Engineering Alumni Society Board for 10 years and currently serves as president. During her term on Alumni Council, she was a member of the Program Development Committee. McNulty-Atwater is a senior process engineer in the Research and Development arm of Rich Products Corporation.



Laurie B. Williams, of Bowie, Md., was re-elected to a second term on Alumni Council where she most recently served as a member of the Diversity Committee, Membership Committee, and the Margin of Excellence Committee. Williams is a consumer safety officer of the U.S. Food and Drug Administration’s Center for Food Safety and Applied Nutrition.
